Omelette 'Pizza Style'

Sharing with you a recipe of omelette - pizza style. Actually I named it pizza style because it looks and tastes like a pizza and whenever I present this wonderful omelette in front of my friends and family, they usually say that it looks so yummy, just like a pizza! My eggetarian friends would love this new style of omelette and I must say that after tasting this omelette you would want to make it again and again. It's not only nutritious but also delicious, usually a rare combination! An absolute delight for egg lovers and pizza lovers as well!

Ingredients for an omelette:

  1. Eggs - 2
  2. Chopped onions - 1/4 cup
  3. Chopped tomatoes - 1/4 cup
  4. Chopped green chilies - 2
  5. Chopped cilantro - 1/4 cup
  6. Chopped parsley - 1/4 cup
  7. Chopped spinach - 1/4 cup
  8. Chopped bell pepper - 1/4 cup
  9. Chopped capsicum - 1/4 cup
  10. Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  11. Refined oil - 1 tablespoon
  12. Salt to taste

Okay, let's start!

  • Beat the eggs
  • In goes all the ingredients, mix these well with the egg
  • Heat a non-stick frying pan and add refined oil to it
  • Once the oil is real hot, pour the mixture and spread it with the help of a spatula
  • Cover it with a lid and keep the flame very low
  • Cook it for 10 minutes
  • Uncover it, when you see that the omelette is fluffy, it's time to serve
  • Take a serving plate and flip the pan on that plate, the omelette would easily come out of the pan into the plate

Serve it with your choice of bread, butter & sauce and indulge in a healthy & tasty breakfast!

Last but not the least, you can always cook the omelette with butter and add some cheese to enhance its taste!

Good luck and enjoy the recipe!
